Rowe W. Teague

Hudson- Mr. Rowe W. Teague, age 85, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Trinity Ridge in Hickory. He was born in Alexander County on July 6, 1934 to the late Fred and Ameca Fox Teague. Mr. Teague served as Pastor of the following churches: Walnut Grove Baptist Church, North Wilkesboro; North Street Baptist Church, Raleigh; Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Shelby and Spring Hill Baptist Church in Canton. Mr. Teague was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Constance “ Connie” Annas Teague. He is survived by his daughters, Tamara Eller and husband, Scott; Teresa Teague; grandchildren, Abby Eller and Drew Eller; sisters, Patsy Bolick and Doris Lanier; and niece, Martha Goforth. A celebration of Mr. Teague’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Hudson on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Mack Jarvis III and Dr. Wade Dellinger officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sardis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
