Rosa Lee Patterson

Lenoir- Rosa Lee Patterson, age 98, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Lenoir Health Care. She was born in Caldwell County on April 24, 1921 to the late Cloyd and Millie Dula. She was a loving mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family. She loved spending time with her family and having a fun time playing ball and wrestling with her grandkids. Cooking, writing poetry and reading the word of God were her passions. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Willie Patterson and son, Joe W. Patterson. She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Dale Williams and Lorraine Horton and husband, Steve; sons, Danny Ray Patterson; Calvin Patterson and wife, Ingrid; daughter-in-law, Martina Patterson; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. A celebration of Rosa Lee’s life will be held at Dulatown Presbyterian Church on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 3:30 PM with Pastor Rocky Dula officiating. Interment will be in Dulatown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30 prior to the service.
