Lenoir – Mr. Ronnie Albert Jones, age 55, of Lenoir, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte.Born March 1, 1959 in Watauga County, Ronnie was a son of the late Paul Albert Jones and Lura Mae Hicks Jones of Lenoir and the husband of Patricia Lewis Jones of the home. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by a son, David Albert Jones; one brother, Dickey Jones, sister, Connie Jones Kirby and his Grandparents. Ronnie had worked in the furniture industry with Heritage Home for over 36 years.He had received his license from the United Christian Church Ministerials’s Association and was serving as pastor of Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church. He had served as pastor of Blue Ridge Advent Christian Church and Associate Pastor of Nazareth Advent Christian Church. Surviving other than his wife Patricia and his mother is a son, Calvin Jones and wife Jessica of Lenoir; brothers, Donnie Jones and wife Rita of Lenoir, Mickey Jones and wife Raneta of Lenoir; four Grandchildren, McKenzie Bryson, Talon Jones, Addison Jones and Brantley Jones along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Gordon Noble, Reverend Scott Philyaw and Reverend Allen Raby officiating.Burial will follow in the Boone’s Fork Cemetery with Reverend Charlie Woodring officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., prior to the service. Pallbearers will be:Scott Shook, Mike Francum, Matt Lewis, Jonathan Hart, Rodney Nelson and Chad Williams.Honorary Pallbearer will be Ricky Cline.
