Ronnie Douglas Church

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Ronnie Douglas Church, age 61, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Hudson. Born April 5, 1950 in Caldwell County, Ronnie was a son of the late, John Winston and Lacy Dula Church. He was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Yadkin Baptist Church. He worked as a forklift operator with Broyhill Furniture for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Rufus Church and Dwight Thomas Church; and one sister in law, Shirley Long. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Holman Church of Lenoir; one brother and sister in law, Dwain Monroe and Dorothy Church of Lenoir; four sisters in law, Linda and Horace Meadows of Taylorsville, Clara and Gar Handy, Rose Church, and Mary Ann and Ray Robbins all from Lenoir; he is also survived by several special nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Ronnie’s life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Yadkin Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Livingston officiating.
