Ronald "Ronnie" Ward

Ronald Albert Ward, 58, of Lenoir went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, June 30th. Ronnie was a tool and die maker, was an avid coin collector, loved vintage cars and enjoyed spending time with his family.He was happiest at his church, Hillcrest Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as Choir Director.Ronnie never passed up an opportunity to witness to others about his Lord and Savior. Survivors include his wife, Karen Brown Ward, and a son, William Thomas Ward, both of Lenoir; a grandchild, Micah Asher Ward; his father, Albert Ward; brothers, Grady and Billy Ward; a nephew, Christopher Ward.He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Ward. A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 12:00PM at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Poarch and Reverend Bradley Walker officiating.Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association at P.O.
