Ronald (Ron) Victor Kris

Ronald (Ron) Victor Kris, age 82, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at home in Lenoir, North Carolina. He was born on February 29, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Garfield Heights High School, served four years in the US Army, and after his honorable discharge, completed a Bachelor of Business degree at Cleveland State University. He married Joan Finn on May 5, 1962, and together, they raised two wonderful children, Colleen (deceased) and Michael. Ron loved engineering and spent many years in the field, concluding his career at Nacco in Lenoir. In retirement, he spent time pursuing many hobbies and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, son, sister, and grandchildren. A visitation will be held at EVANS FUNERAL SERVICE, 1070 Taylorsville Rd, Lenoir, NC, from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
