Ronald "Chock" Perkins

Mr. Ronald “Chock” Perkins, age 84, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Lenoir Health Care. Born March 31, 1936 in Caldwell County, Chock was a son of the late Johnny and Loretta Leon Perkins.Chock loved music.He especially enjoyed karaoke, where he will be remembered by his alias, Perk Entertainment.He loved sports, especially basketball and golf.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Candy Laura Perkins; two brothers, Robert Perkins and Arthur Perkins. Survivors include his children, Glenda Connley, Andrea Ferguson (husband Lewis), Ronnie Perkins, Leslie Perkins, Deanna Perkins and Anthony Perkins; a special friend, Virginia Dale Williams; he is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
