Ronald Huffman

Granite Falls – Ronald Lee Huffman, age 63, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. He was born in Caldwell County on January 26, 1957 to Leroy and Nancy Huffman. He was married to Vanessa Greene Huffman of the residence for 38 years. Ron was a loving, son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a long-time member of God’s Grace Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, Ron is survived by his sons, James Huffman and wife, Lori; Chad Huffman and wife, Crystal; daughters, Nicole Huffman; Chasidy Winebarger and husband, Bruce; and Sabrina Huffman; brothers, Nathan Huffman and wife, Debbie; and Shawn Huffman and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Cassie Roberts; Destiny Huffman; Emilee Mooney; Grace Huffman; Kolt Winebarger; Savanna Adams; Makinlee Adams; and E.J. Bryant; and numerous other family members. A graveside celebration of Ron’s life will be held at Laurel Haven Cemetery on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tony Hamby officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
