Rona Renee Gragg

Lenoir –Mrs. Rona Renee Walker Gragg, age 49, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born in Caldwell County on June 9, 1965 to the late Wayne T. Walker and Juanita Jackson Walker. She was married to Kenneth Edward Gragg. Rona was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her generous smile. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Walker. Rona is also survived by her son, Eric Gragg and girlfriend, Desirae Hutchcraft; brothers, Wayne Walker, Jr.; Rex Walker and wife, Jeannie; sister, Nancy Benfield and husband, Mike; brother, Mark Walker; aunt, Trish Oliver; niece, Stephanie Pennell; special best friend, Lorie Pennell; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Rona’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Gary Shew and Pastor Aldene Wheeler officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the Gragg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
