Ron Owens

Rondy Lee Owens, 65, of Lenoir, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare with his loving wife of 24 years Pat and his children by his side. He was retired from the construction business. His family was his life and he loved them dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents Loneita and Emit Owens, brothers, Danny Owens and David Ray Owens. He is survived by his wife, Pat, his children, Ron and Christina Gill; Regina and husband, Justin Wyke of Lenoir; and Greg Owens of Georgia; Papaws boys, his two grandsons; Dustin Gill of Lenoir and Trae Owens of Georgia. He is also survived by his sisters, Lisa Owens (Jeff McQuillen), Karen Williams and husband, Pete; and Phyllis Stutz all of Hudson; brothers, Earl Owens and wife, Diane of Hickory; Darrell Owens and Mike Owens of Ohio; and nieces, nephews and many other family members. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date due to Covid restrictions.
