Ron Greene

Lenoir – Ronald Eric Greene, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Caldwell County on February 9, 1946 to the late Carl and Mary Emma Goble Greene. He was married to Linda Edminsten Greene of the home for 48 years. Ron was of the Bahá'à Faith and was a loving husband, father and provider. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Ron enjoyed gardening and his work with computers. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Greene. Other than his wife, he is survived by his children, Eric Greene and wife, Amanda; Terrah Pugh and husband, Steven; Angela Ford and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Meghan Greene; David Greene; Alyssa Greene; Bryan Greene; Terrah Hinnant; Alaura Pugh; Benjamin Pugh; and Elise Ford; great-grandchildren, Mia Brewer and Katherine Greene; and brother, Carl Richard Greene. A graveside service celebrating Ron’s life will be held at Harper’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
