Roger Allie Church

Granite Falls, NC- Mr. Roger Church, age 59, of Granite Falls, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Roger was born December 29, 1948 to Allie and Eunice ?Granny? Church. Roger was a native of Caldwell County and a charter member of the Welcome Home Baptist Church. He was a tool vendor who worked for Details in Mooresville. Roger is survived by his wife Karen Church of Granite Falls; Two daughters, Crystal Williams and Randy Blumich of Hudson, and Tamara and Lonnie Dillard of Lenoir; His parents, Allie and Eunice ?Granny? Church of Hudson; Three sisters, Jeanette and Dorman Craig of Hudson, Wanda and Jerry Laws of Hudson, and Brenda and Mike Baumberger of Granite Falls; Three Grandsons, Brandon Williams of Hudson, Tyler Dillard and Tanner Dillard of Lenoir; Two granddaughters, Brooke and Billy Echeverria of Hudson, and Taryn Dillard of Lenoir; One Great Grandson, Anthony Echeverria of Hudson; Roger is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2008 at the Welcome Home Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, September 14, 2008 between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
