Robert Harris Watson

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Robert Harris “Bobby” Watson, age 64, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013. He was born in Caldwell County on April 23, 1948 to the late Lewis Edwin Watson, Jr. and Jean Harris Watson. Bob is survived by three siblings; his brother, Lewis Edwin Watson III and wife, Ninette; his two sisters, Lynne Bradford of Lindon, UT, Holly Piercy and husband, Fred of Denver, NC; four nephews, Fred Russell Piercy III “Russ”, Heath Watson, Lewis Edwin Watson IV, and Robert Bradford; four nieces, Heather Harris Piercy, Holly Cortez, Jenna Bradford, and Sarah Merrill; and 15 grand-nieces and nephews. Fondly known by “Bullet Bob”, “Mr. Sunshine”, and “Uncle Bobby”, Bob leaves behind many friends and family whose lives have been greatly touched by the love of this “larger than life” man. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the charity that will best enrich the lives of your own personal family. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 12:00 Noon.
