Robert Harlan Parsons

Robert Parsons, 56, passed away on October 19, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Robert was born on September 19, 1965 to James Parsons and Frances Boykins in Pennsylvania. Rob was married for 33 years to Karen Parsons of Granite Falls. He spent the later part of his working career as a truck driver for Dickinson Hauling. Rob enjoyed spending time lifting weights and working out. Robert loved to tell anyone who would listen about Jesus. He was an ordained minister. Rob will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a beloved friend to all. In addition to his wife and mother, Rob is survived by his children: Josh Parsons and wife Annette; Tiffany Parsons; Mackenzie Adkins and husband David; and Chloe Parsons. He is survived by his brother Danny Parsons and his sister Sonya Rivera. Rob is survived by his grandchildren: Raelynn Jacumin, Stefan Parsons, Emerie Jacumin, Eli Parsons, Rylan Adkins and another grandchild on the way. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends to cherish his memory. The family will have a service to celebrate Rob’s life on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at North Catawba Baptist Church at 3:00 pm. Pastor David Brown will be officiating.
