Robert Carl Brown

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Robert ?Bobby? Carl Brown, Jr. age 62, of Partridge Court died Saturday, September 30, 2006. Born May 13, 1944 in Smyrna, Tennessee, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Dr. Robert Carl Brown, Sr. and Elizabeth ?Libby? Brown of Hammond, LA and the husband of Karen Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hammond, LA and was an engineer for Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation for nearly two decades and recently retired from Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. in Holden, LA. Surviving other than his wife and mother are two sons, Parrish Brown and wife Katy May of Washington, DC; Ryan Brown and fiancée Audra Malnar of Lenoir; two sisters, Carol Yokum of Hammond, LA; Betsy Sylvest and husband Jeff of Robert, LA and one granddaughter, Libby Brown of Washington, DC. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his special cousin, Adeline King. Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at First United Methodist Church-Lenoir with Reverend Jerry Reardon and Reverend Marietta Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11-Noon at the First United Methodist Church.
