Robert Ernest Arney

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Robert Ernest Arney, age 49, beloved husband, father, son, friend and brother-in-Christ, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, June 10, 2007. Through his business, Maximus Hair Designers, Robert?s big heart and generous nature touched the lives of many, many people. Though Robert will be truly missed, we know one day we will see him again because of his faith in his personal Savior. Robert is survived by his loving wife Cathi of 28 years, a marriage built upon God, Love and respect. They were blessed by two sons, Jason Arney of Lenoir and Daniel Arney and fiancée Ashley Williams of Hudson. Other survivors include his mother Lois Arney and brother Dennis Arney and wife Helen all of Lenoir; one nephew, Michael Roberts of Lenoir, one niece, Crystal R. Kennedy of Marion as well as many other family members including several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, John Ernest Arney and a sister, Melissa Arney Roberts. Robert?s Homegoing Celebration will be at Lower Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 3:00 PM with Reverend Todd Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 on Thursday prior to the service and at other times at the home at 201 Abernathy St. in Lenoir. Burial will follow in the Flemings Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
