Robert "Bobby" Anderson

Robert “Bobby” Clinton Anderson, 58, passed away on Wednesday, May 4th at UNC Healthcare Blue Ridge, after a long battle with renal failure.Bobby was born on April 12, 1964 to the late Charles Anderson Sr and Connie F. Anderson.In addition to his parents, is also preceded in death by his step-mother, Nancy C. Anderson. Bobby will be remembered by many friends and family for his kind, gentle and friendly spirit.At times, he was a rebel, but inside he was a diamond in the rough.Bobby enjoyed hanging out with his buddies at the pool room and never knew a stranger. Bobby is survived by his wife, Donna H. Anderson of the home.Son, Ethan Anderson and wife Lauren of Lansdale, PA.; Son, Jimmy Crawford and wife Amanda of Hudson; Daughter, Bethany Bowen also of the home; Grandchildren, Hunter and Mallory Cardwell of Hudson and one grandson on the way. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Anderson JR and wife Anita; his sister, Mary Ann Mendez and husband Roberto of Lenoir; a special great-granddaughter Neveah and numerous extended family members. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, May 7 at 11:00am with Rev. Jeff Lovitt and Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating.The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 until 11:00 am prior to the service.
