Rita Patterson

Statesville, NC- Ms. Rita Ann Harrison Patterson, age 54, of Ericson Street, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, June 26, 2006. Born June 18, 1952 in Caldwell County, Ms. Patterson was a daughter of the late Edith Townsend Harrison. She is survived by her father Elbert John Harrison of Granite Falls; 5 sisters, Hilda Powell, Betty Helton, Catherine Arnett all of Lenoir; Dianne Rabon of Greensboro, Cheri Greer of Florida; 5 brothers, Jerry, Johnny and Eddie Harrison all of Lenoir, Frank Harrison of Conover, Ken Harrison of Tennessee; half-sister, Debbie Gillem of Alabama; 2 step-sisters, Diana Terry of Texas, Judy Sells of Maryland, 14 nieces and 12 nephews. Other than her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Hilton, a niece, Stacy Greer and her step-mother, Clara Harrison. A celebration of Ms. Patterson's life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Lower Creek Baptist Church in Lenoir with Pastor Chancee Carter officiating. Interment will be in the Houston Road Baptist Church Cemetery in Troutman. Memorials may be made to Houston Road Baptist Church, 128 Narroway Lane, Troutman, NC 28166.
