Hickory, NC- Mr. Rickey Wayne Storie, age 58, of Hickory, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at his home. Rickey was born February 22, 1952 in Caldwell County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Kendall Storie. He is survived by his father, Romie Wayne Storie and wife Geneva of Hudson; his sister, Krista Storie Beane and husband Roger of Lenoir and three nieces, Erica Beane Ashley and husband Rick of Granite Falls; Courtney Kendall Dollar and husband Jason of Icard and Alison Lindsay Beane of Sawmills. A private graveside service will be conducted in the Grandin Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend R.J. Lovins officiating.
