Hudson, NC- Mr. Richard Daniel Yarbrough, age 62, of Hudson, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 in Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Born September 27, 1946 in Savannah, GA, Mr. Yarbrough was a son of the late Daniel Webster and Margaret Kicklighter Yarbrough. He was a disabled veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He had worked for Sealed Air and was best known as an All American Pro Softball player in Savannah. He is survived by three daughters, Tracy Whitman and husband Phillip of Lowell, Indiana; Angela Raybon and husband Daniel and Kim Myers and husband Jon, all of Crestview, FL; 10 grandchildren, Jimmy Cobb, Phillip Michael Whitman, Matthew Whitman, Ashley Raybon, Pace Raybon, Colbea Raybon, Riley Raybon, Ramsey Shaud, Jocelyn Shaud and Camden Myers, and Fiancé, Shirley Day of Hudson and her sons, Geoff, Andy and Reggie Day. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Michael Yarbrough. A celebration of Mr. Yarbrough?s life will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Nicky Waters officiating. Military Honors will be presented.
