Richard Allen Stout

Richard Allen Stout, age 60, of Hickory, North Carolina passed away on January 1, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. Richard was born on March 13, 1962 to the late Charlie Tom Stout and Ethel Beatrice Freeman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Shook and Susie Roberts; niece, Christina Shook; and nephews, Larry Wayne Shook and Jonathan Roberts. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rebecca Stout; daughter, April Brown; sister, Charlotte Davis; brothers, Raymond Stout and wife Teresa, Gregory Stout and wife Rebecca, Charlie Stout; Lincoln Stout; grandchildren, Mason Samson, Max Blumke; brother-in-law, Larry Shook. Richard never met a stranger and loved everyone. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. He was great at encouraging others. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on January 13, 2023 at NorthSide Baptist Church in Granite Falls, North Carolina.
