Richard Clell Shoemake

Lenoir, NC – Mr. Richard Clell Shoemake, age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Brockford Inn Assisted Living. Mr. Shoemake was born in Caldwell County on November 7, 1928 to the late Steward Shoemake and Ethel Greene Shoemake. He was of Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Merle Greene, Steward Shoemake, Jr. and Doyle Shoemake. He is survived by his sister, Helen Irene Bennett; his niece, Rita Seagle and husband, Lynn; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 3:00 until 4:00. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Walking By Faith Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Marvin Ford officiating.
