Richard Lee Gilbert

Richard Lee Gilbert, age 53, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare.He was born July 26, 1966 in Charles County, Maryland to the late Bobby Gilbert and Edith Mae Gilbert of Lenoir. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Gilbert; brother, Robert Gilbert, Sr.; sister, Judy Gilbert McKee; two daughters, Natasha Gilbert and Michelle Gilbert; and one son, Richard Lee Gilbert, II; three granddaughters and one grandson. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Confidence Advent Christian Church conducted by Rev. Norman Sherwood.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
