Richard Conrid Cline

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Richard Conrid Cline, age 70, of Lenoir, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at his home. Born January 28, 1939, he was a son of Estie Pauline Cline and the late Thomas Howard Cline. Richard was a retired truck driver for Bernhardt Furniture after 19 years of service. He was Baptist by faith and attended Grandview Park Baptist Church and was also an Army veteran. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Clark; and a granddaughter, Victoria Clark. Richard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Belinda Bean Cline of the home; Four daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Hight Reid, Cathy and Dennis Dale, Sandy and Wayne Lee, and Renee and Mark Clark all of Lenoir; a son and daughter in law, Richard S. and Tina Cline of Lenoir; his mother, Pauline Cline of Lenoir; two sisters, Barbara Brown of Brooksville, FL, and Sue Watson of Lenoir; one brother, Delbert Cline of Lenoir; he is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous other relatives. A celebration of life for Richard will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Park Baptist Church. Officiating will be Reverend Raymond Spann. Interment will take place at Blue Ridge Memorial park following the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Clark, Mark Clark, Steven Dale, Dennis Dale, Joel Lee, Wayne Lee, Roger Fox, and Hight Reid. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Grandview Park Baptist Church Building Fund.
