Reid Barnett

Mr. Reid Barnett, age 63, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born June, 22, 1953 in Burnsville, NC, Reid was a son of the late Gus and Virginia Martin Barnett. Reid loved listening to music and spending time with his family and closest of friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Barnett. Survivors include his children, Kimberly Hope Barnett of Trade, TN, and Brandon Barnett of Lenoir, NC; two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Halei Barnett; he is also survived by five sisters, two brothers and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Reid’s life will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
