Rebecca Ann Wright

Collettsville, NC- Rebecca Ann Vines Wright, age 75, of Collettsville, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. Born March 11, 1941 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Pearl Bolick Vines and the wife of the late J.C. Wright. Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one sister Mary Lee Vines and 2 brothers, Charles Daniel Vines and Paul Douglas Vines. She is survived by her faithful companion Dog, Taco; three sons, Keith Wright and wife Gina, Kurt Wright, Andrew Wright and wife Donna; five daughters, Martha Bowman and husband Terry, Christine Coffey and husband Sammy; Kimberly Mitchell and husband Louis; Phyllis Gragg and husband Richard; Iris Whitt and husband Darren; one brother, Floyd Vines and wife Helen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A special Thank You to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care and their staff and thanks to Jullie Potter, Lisa Calloway and Jenny Patterson for their extra special love and compassion. Also a special thank you goes to Caldwell UNC Health Care ICU staff. A celebration of Mrs. Wright’s life will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Johnny McCarty officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 until 1:00.
