Rebecca "Becky" Watson Woodring

Rebecca “Becky” Watson Woodring, 68, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

She was born on September 18, 1956, to the late Hoover and Charlotte Church Watson.

Becky was retired from the Caldwell County School System where she worked as a lunchroom manager at Dudley Shoals Elementary School. She loved good food and shopping to find that great bargain. She also enjoyed good movies and going to the beach.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 50 years, Michael Woodring, daughters, Leslie Woodring Lynch and husband William, Shannon Woodring and Bradley Annas, her son Jake Woodring, Brittany and Emma, and her granddaughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Woodring, her sister-in-law, Tina, as well as her extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Gary Lee Watson.

A memorial celebration of Becky’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.
