Reba Ervin Chappell

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Reba Ervin Chappell, age 82, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. Born March 10, 1930 in Caldwell County, Reba was the daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Boughman Ervin. She was a member of the Tabernacle Advent Christian Church for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making cakes and was also a member of the R.M.A. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon LaFroy Chappell. Survivors include her children, Elaine Crouch Norman, husband Dennis, Deborah Crouch Robbins, husband Alan, Lori Lynch-Senter all from Lenoir, and Pamela Woodard, husband Rex, and John Chappell, wife Michelle, both from Virginia; one brother, Louis H. Ervin of Wilkesboro, NC; two grandsons, Ethan & Aaron Lynch, she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A private graveside memorial service celebrating Reba’s life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Tabernacle Advent Christian Church with Reverend Frank Hall officiating.
