Raymond Lee Corley

Lenoir – Raymond Lee Corley, age 72, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Caldwell UNC Health. He was born in Caldwell County on April 18, 1948 to the late George and Helen Corley. Raymond was a loving father and grandfather, He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam, and he later retired from the furniture industry. Raymond was an avid reader and was an accomplished artist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Pendergrast Corley; one brother and five sisters. Raymond is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Robbins; grandchildren, Megan Simms and husband, Jacob; grandson, Markus Dollar; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service honoring Raymond’s life will be held at a later date.
