Ray Eugene Minton

Ray Eugene Minton, age 79, of Granite Falls, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 23, after a period of declining health.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Barbara Minton. He is survived by four children, daughters, Sandra Minton and Brenda Laws (Monty), sons, Johnny Minton (Barbara) and David Minton (Tammy); six grandchildren, Lee Grant, Chris Triplett, Chad Grant (Nicole), Jesse Ferguson, Lance Minton (Megan), and Dalton Minton; and four great-grandchildren, Rayne, Laekyn, Mads, and Cade.

Ray was a loving husband, Daddy, Pops, and Pawpaw. He instilled his family with a hardworking attitude and toughness that he was known for. His sense of humor could always bring a smile. He was someone who you knew you could rely on no matter the situation. He is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all.
