Hudson, NC - Mr. Randy Edward Bailey, age 43, of Hudson, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at his home. Born September 9, 1968 in Orange Park, Florida, Randy was a son of Euniv and Dennis Jawgiel of Lenoir. He was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Mountain Grove Baptist Church. Randy had worked for the New River Behavioral Health Care as a counselor. He was a little league umpire and coach for a number of years and also enjoyed golfing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Teresa Jambor Bailey. In addition to his parents, survivors include three children, Randy Bailey, Jr., Gabrielle Bailey and Nicholas Bailey all of Hudson; two sisters and a brother in law, Sabrina and Peter Thompson of Springfield, OH, and Samantha Wilderson of Blakely, PA; a brother and sister in law, Allen and Hilda Bailey of Lenoir; a sister in law, Eva Jambor Mince, husband John, of Springhill, FL; two brothers in law, Peter Jambor, wife Mary, of Milford, CT, and George Jambor, wife Diane, of Elmer, NJ; his mother in law, Gabriella Kormann-Jambor of Passiac, NJ; Randy is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Harland Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Burkhimer officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church. Memorials can be made to the Valdese Hospital Cancer Center at 2201 Sterling Street, Morganton, NC 28655.
