Ramona Auton Mcdaniel

Lenoir – Mrs. Ramona Auton McDaniel, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Select Specialty Acute Care. She was born in Caldwell County on February 10, 1948 to the late Elmo Greer and Antha Coffey Greer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Auton. Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her children, Jack Thomas “J.T.” Auton, Shannon Mathis, Kelly Philyaw, and Misty Auton; sister, Terri Rhyder; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. McDaniel’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 12:00 with Pastor Gurney Robbins officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the Auton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
