Ralph 'Buster' Raster Lindon

Lenoir – Mr. Ralph “Buster” Raster Lindon, age 68, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville. Buster was born November 7, 1945 in Caldwell County. He had served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and had worked in the furniture industry. Mr. Lindon was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ferguson Lindon and a brother, Darius Patterson. He is survived by his mother, Junie Mae Lindon Patterson of Lenoir; 3 children, Michael Angelo Kelley of Fremont, OH; Janet Ferguson of Fayetteville and Sally Ferguson of Wilkesboro.He is also survived by his sister, Junie Ineace Patterson of Asheville; brother, Eric Patterson and wife Cindy of Lenoir; sister-in-law, Brenda Patterson of Lenoir and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Buster’s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Jimmy Norwood, Reverend Vernell Patterson and Bishop George Morgan officiating.Burial will follow in the Laurel Haven Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service.
