Ralph Joseph Haigler

Ralph Joseph Haigler, 87, was born in Washington, DC on December 14, 1935 to the late Ralph Hade Haigler and Helen Tayman Haigler. He was a resident of Caldwell County for over 80 years. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Donna Haigler of 30 years in Taylorsville; daughters, Mary Beth Haigler Huffhine of Hudson and Sherri Lynn Scherer and husband Robert “Bob” of Spartanburg, SC; stepdaughters Deidria Daniels Watts and husband Wesley and Dana Daniels Stikeleather and husband Bradley of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Genealy Haigler Hudson (Derek) of Taylorsville, and Donna’s 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 step great-grandchildren. Ralph was the Planning Director and served as the interim City Manager of Lenoir, NC. Ralph attended services for over 10 years at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lenoir, NC. Ralph was an Air Force Veteran and served in Mississippi, Alaska and Nevada. A private gravesite ceremony at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, NC was held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2:00pm. Evans Funeral Service & Crematory of Lenoir oversaw the funeral arrangements.
