Ralph Berry

Ralph Berry, 83, of Lenoir, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Ralph was born March 26, 1941, to the late Henry and Lurenia Harmon Berry.

In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his son, Ralph Wayne Berry and 12 siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 and a half years, Elsie Berry; children, Linda Owens (Ken), Michael Berry, Keith Berry (Nita), Ronny Berry (Judy), Melanie Poarch (Michael); 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 10 step grandchildren.

Ralph was a wood craftsman.  He had a natural talent and could build anything.  Ralph never met a stranger and loved a good conversation.

A service to celebrate Ralph’s life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Covenant Church in Hudson, NC with Pastors Danny Honeycutt, Fred Stapleton, Tony English officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior at 10:00 AM at Cornerstone Covenant Church in Hudson, NC.  Burial will follow at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 1525 Clarks Creek Road, Banner Elk, NC 28604.

Serving as pallbearers are Keith Berry, Ronny Berry, Jeremy Swanson, Jarrad Poarch, Keith Allan Berry, Jr., and Michael Shane.

The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Amorem Hospice.
