Plaze Smith

Mr. Plaze Herbert Smith, age 91, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at his home. Born April 3, 1929 in Caldwell County, Plaze was a son of the late George and Sarah Miller Smith.Plaze enjoyed working on small motors and also gardening.He enjoyed bowling and traveling.Plaze was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Juanita Cantor Smith; he was also preceded in death by his siblings. Survivors include his son, Leslie Smith (wife Barbara); grandchildren, Kimberly Rayfield and Jennifer Smith; two great grandchildren, Jacob Rayfield and Gracelyn Rayfield; he was also survived by numerous other relatives.
