Phillip Waters

Banner Elk, NC- Mr. Phil “Phillip” Waters, age 74, of Banner Elk, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Charles A. Cannon Memorial Hospital in Linville, NC. Born August 14, 1934, Phil was a son of the late George Herman and Louellen Waters. Phil was self employed in the car washing business. He was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosalee Waters.  He is survived by his sister, Margie McGinnis of Granite Falls; Two brothers and a sister in law, Dale Herman and Gwen Waters, and James Lake Waters, both from Lenoir; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  The family of Mr. Waters will be having a private memorial service.  Online condolences may be sent to the Waters Family at www.evansfuneralservice.com  Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir is serving the Waters Family.
