Pete Loyzelle

Peter Maynard Loyzelle, 82, of Hudson, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Glens Falls, NY on June 7, 1934 to the late William Peter Loyzelle and Marion Maynard Loyzelle. Mr. Loyzelle served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and retired from Bell South after 41 years of service. He was a member of Hudson United Methodist Church. Mr. Loyzelle loved gardening, hiking with his wife and Most of All Spending Time With His Family. In addition to his wife of 60 years, Mary Jo Loyzelle, he is survived by his daughter, Lynne Sanders and husband, Richard of Lenoir; daughter, Catherine Byerly and husband, Ken of Lenoir; son, Patrick Maynard Loyzelle of Newton; grandchildren, Benjamin Byerly; Sara Byerly McCabe and husband, Mitch; Lauren Dobbin and Pat McManus; Emma Pannenbacker and husband, Ben; Lisa Byerly; David Byerly; Madeline Loyzelle and Taegan Loyzelle; great-grandchild, Liam Pannenbacker; sister, Sally L. Grabot and family, of Chicago, Illinois. A memorial service for Mr. Loyzelle will be held at Hudson United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Reverend Gerald Collins and Pastor Ken Byerly. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 1:30 until 3:00 prior to the service.
