Peggy B. Greene

Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Peggy B. Greene, age 55, of Granite Falls, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born February 20, 1954 in Caldwell County, Peggy was the daughter of the late Johnny David and Lucy Harrell Bryant. Peggy was Baptist by faith and had worked at Thomasville Furniture as a computer specialist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Bryant and JC Bryant. Surviving are her husband, Wayburn Greene of Granite Falls; two daughters, Jordan Greene and Brandy Greene both of Granite Falls; two brothers and sisters in law, Ralph and Shelby Bryant, and Raymond and Mariam Bryant all from Lenoir; one grandson, Skylar Greene Deighton of Granite Falls; she is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service for Mrs. Greene will take place on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Officiating will be Reverend Raymond Coffey. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM prior to the memorial service.
