Peggy Jean Bryant

Lenoir, NC - Mrs. Peggy Jean Bryant, age 73, of Lenoir, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. Born October 21, 1938 in Boone, NC, Peggy was a daughter of the late Mary and Hurley Main Sr. She was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Peggy enjoyed bowling and playing softball at a younger age. She will be remembered as a #1 Mom to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Main. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ervin Bryant of the home; her children, Phyllis B. Moody, Tracy B. Enloe, Greg E. Bryant all from Lenoir and Jennifer B. Correll and husband, Timmy, of Surf City, NC; grandchildren, Casey J. Moody, Jacob K Moody, wife Racheal, Alexis V. Bryant, Luke H. Enloe, Benjamin M. Enloe, Jordan Blake Correll, Tate Correll, and Sydney P. Bryant; her great grandchildren, Keyon and Rylee Dula and Savannah and Jeremiah Moody; three sisters, Bobbie Earp, Linda Orr, and Georgia Lowe; three brothers, Hurley Main, Jr., Ray Main and Tony Main; Peggy is also survived by numerous other loved ones. A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Daniel Buchanan and Benny Earp officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir. Serving as pallbearers will be Tate Correll, Jacob Moody, Ben Enloe, Luke Enloe, Michael Clark, Chris Clark, and Tim Correll. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
