Pearl Farmer Hoyle, 77, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Hospice Solace Center in Asheville. Pearl was born on June 19, 1944 to the late Johnie and Ruby Farmer in Gaston County. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry R Hoyle Sr.; son, Larry R Hoyle Jr.; sisters, Elsie Moss, Helen Curtis, and Tammy Shook. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer Dula and husband, Mark of Granite Falls; daughter-in-law, Teresa Hoyle of Lenoir; brother, Johnie Farmer Jr. and wife, Sandra of Lenoir; sister, Jo Triplett and husband Larry of Lenoir; grandchildren, Cameron Dula and wife Brittany of Mountain City TN, Brooke Stewart and husband Tyler of Lenoir, and Hope Dula of Granite Falls; great grandchildren, Charlotte and Owen Dula, Sadie and baby Stewart due in October; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Pearl enjoyed spending time with her family and grandbabies. She loved taking care of people. She also enjoyed shopping, playing the piano, the beach, and a good banana split. A 1:00PM funeral service to honor Pearl Farmer Hoyle will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Poovey’s Chapel in Hudson with Pastor Mark Dula and Rev. Cameron Dula officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00PM to 1:00PM. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir with Rev. Jeff Hoyle officiating.
