Hudson, NC- Mrs. Pearl Woodring Bolick Gragg, age 93, of Hudson, died Friday, January 9, 2009 in Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born April 26, 1915 in Meat Camp, Mrs. Gragg was a daughter of the late Josh and Neelie Greene Woodring. Mrs. Gragg was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and was retired from Textiles. She is survived by two daughters, Jo Mitchell and husband Robert of Lenoir; Louise Blevins and husband J. Harold of Granite Falls; one son, Lee Bolick of Hudson; one step-daughter, Dorsie Ford of Black Mountain; one sister, Lucy Payne of Winston-Salem; 2 brothers, Ralph Woodring of Hickory; Robert Woodring of Lenoir; 3 grandsons; 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandsons. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bolick and former husband, Windom Gragg; 5 sisters, Blanche Miller, Thelma Miller, Verlie Davis, Josephine Frazier; Flossie Woodring and one granddaughter, Necole Cooke. A celebration of Mrs. Gragg?s life will be held 7:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2009 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Edd Warren and Reverend Warren Blevins officiating. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 12, 2009 in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7 PM Sunday, prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir. Pallbearers will be: Gary Foxx, Rick Coffey, Chuck Foxx, Scott Foxx, Cody Coffey and Aaron Keen. Memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
