Pauline C. Greene

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Pauline Craig Greene, age 77, of Lenoir, went to walk with the Lord and angels, Friday, May 11, 2007 in Gateway Nursing Center. Born February 15, 1930, Mrs. Greene was a daughter of the late Ivey Glen and Lora Griffin Craig and the wife of the late Dale Greene. Mrs. Greene was a homemaker, mother, member of Clark?s Chapel Baptist Church and Primetimers. She is survived by one daughter, Victoria Maness and husband Bruce of Lenoir; 5 sons, Roger Greene; Ronnie Greene and wife Lorrie; Marshall Greene and wife Penny; Terry Greene and Danny Greene, all of Lenoir; 7 adopted children, Gordon Helms, Donna Harmon, John, Gail, Ginny, David and Marlene; 18 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren and very special friends, Betty Craig and Ruth Townsend. Other than her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Marshall, John, Charles and Glen Craig; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Brian Dean, Christian Triplett and one Daughter-in-Law, Judy Greene. A celebration of Mrs. Greene?s life will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 14, 2007 at Clark?s Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. David Roberts, Rev. Russell Cook and Rev. Ralph Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Clark?s Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund, 3212 Clark?s Chapel Road, Lenoir, NC 28645 or to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
