Paula Fitzgerald

Paula Fitzgerald Lenoir- Mrs. Paula Justice Fitzgerald, age 82, passed away on September 16, 2018 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Logan, WV on May 21, 1936 to the late Bert and Nina Justice. She was preceded in death by her sisters, June Hope Justice, Janet Goode and Glenna Pope; and her brother, Bert Justice. Mrs. Fitzgerald graduated from Huntington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from Old Dominion University. She married her sweetheart, Bob Fitzgerald on August 30, 1958 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Paula Lynn Fitzgerald Trask and husband, Timothy of Clemmons, NC; Elizabeth Lomax and wife, Mary of Lenoir, NC; grandchildren, Amber Fitzgerald Deal; Megan Fitzgerald Miller and husband, Shane of Lenoir; Matthew Trask of Clemmons; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Riley, Delaney, Noah and Levi, all of Lenoir. A celebration of Mrs. Fitzgerald’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
