Paul Douglas Vines

Collettsville, NC- Mr. Paul Douglas Vines, age 53, of Collettsville, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in Burke County. Born May 26, 1954 in Caldwell County, Mr. Vines was a son of the late Daniel Lee and Betty Pearl Bolick Vines. He is survived by his brother, Floyd R. Vines and wife Helen of Collettsville; Sister, Rebecca Wright and husband J.C. of Collettsville; two uncles, Walter Vines and Lloyd Vines both of Lenoir; 4 aunts, Ruby Gore of Whittier, NC, Ethel Bolick, Pansy Coffey and Evelyn Coffey all of Lenoir and several nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Daniel Vines and sister, Mary Lee Vines. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2008 in the chapel of Iverson Riddle Center in Morganton with Reverend Johnny McCarty and Chaplain Johnny Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Cobb Hayes Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service in the Iverson Riddle Center. Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews of Mr. Vines.
