Paul Swink

Paul Arthur Swink, 72, of Lenior, NC, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 5th, 2022 after a period of declining health. Paul, a spunky soul, never met a stranger, and was always willing to offer a helping hand in any way he could. He was born in Burke County on December the 9th, 1949 to the late Pink and Lola (Canipe) Swink. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Peggy Church; daughters, Robin Swink and Pasty Humphries; grandchildren, Mekayla Swink, Gabriella Smith, Athena Lor, Trinity Gladden, and Peyton Swink; great grandsons, Jasper and Everland Ozinga. Also surviving, are brothers Ray Canipe and Pink Swink Jr.; sisters include Annie Sue Price, Dollie Parish, Linda Sain, Brenda Henson, Helen Swink, Nancy Faye Carter, and Barbara Botts. As well as, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Preceding him in death, other than his parents, are brothers Brady Canipe, Johnny, Jimmie, and Tommy Gene Swink. Sisters include Ruby Helms and Betty Swink. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12th at Carpenter’s Grove Baptist Church in Lawndale at 1pm.
