Paul Monroe Hoyle

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Paul M. Hoyle, age 77, of Lenoir, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Brockford Inn Assisted Living in Granite Falls. Born March 4, 1934 in Caldwell County, Mr. Hoyle was a son of the late Euray Hagaman and Ila Janet Campbell Hoyle and the husband of Mrs. Betty Woodie Hoyle of the home. Mr. Hoyle was a member of First Baptist Church-Whitnel and had taught Sunday School and was a deacon for over 35 years at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was the owner/operator of J & J Retread for 15 years and had worked Security for Broyhill Industries for 12 years. He enjoyed fishing with his friends. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Hoyle. Surviving other than his wife is one son, Terry Allen Hoyle of Lenoir; 3 daughters, Karen Elaine Crawford and husband Gary of Covington, GA; Tammy Jean Starnes of Conover; Paulette Dibler and husband Matthew of Hoschton, GA; 2 sisters, Jeanette Roberts and husband Toylee of Lenoir; Kathryn Tolbert and husband Allen of Collettsville; 4 brothers, Jerry A. Hoyle and wife Dora Lee of Lenoir; Larry Hoyle and wife Pearl of Lenoir; Ted Hoyle and wife Peggy of Granite Falls, Harold Hoyle of Lenoir; 6 grandchildren, Tessa Putnam, Wynter McDonald, Jacob Paul Millsaps, Ashley Adams, Sabrina Dibler, Lindsay Dibler and 3 great-grandchildren, Selah Cai Adams, Zachary Isaac McDonald and Sheyenne Putnam. A celebration of Mr. Hoyle’s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2011 at First Baptist Church-Whitnel, with Reverend Stuart White and Reverend Jeff Hoyle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, from 1:30 until 3:00 PM at the church.
