Paul Walter Hinson

Paul Walter Hinson, age 67, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Brian Center East in Hickory.He was born on August 11, 1951 in Caldwell County to the late Partee and Oma Carlton Hinson.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Reba Carlton Pless Woods; two brothers, Ray Hinson and Jim Hinson; and his former wife, Freida Edmisten Hinson Jones. Paul was a graduate of Gamewell-Collettesville High School and was a retired diesel truck mechanic. Survivors include a son, David Hinson of Morganton; sister Gail Hinson Price of West Columbia, SC; and brother Claude Hinson of Oregon. A private service will be held at a later date.
