Paul Flynn

Mr. Paul Walter Flynn, age 67, of Lenoir passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born April 5, 1952 in McDowell County, Paul was a son of Tempie Elizabeth Hunley and the late Clyde Flynn.Paul had worked as a ripsaw operator in the furniture industry.He was a member of the Seeds for Harvest Church.Paul was an avid fisherman.He enjoyed sports, especially Football and Nascar.In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by two daughters, Shannon Wilson and Sandy Webb. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of 30 years, Glenda Flynn of Lenoir;a daughter, Renee Flynn Mathis of Marion;a step son, Daniel Kirby Jefferson City, Missouri; a brother, Jerry Flynn (wife Beverly) of Rutherfordton; his stepfather, Lester Hunley of Marion; his mother in law, Leila Berry of Lenoir; his brother in law, Billy Berry of Lenoir; he is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Seeds for Harvest Church at 2:30 PM with Pastor Michael Owens officiating.
