Patricia Ann Arnold

Lenoir – Patricia Summerlin Arnold, 78, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024.

She was born to the late Dallas Summerlin and Betty Pope Summerlin Edmisten on December 3, 1945, in Norfolk, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert Edmisten and a brother, James Summerlin.  Survivors include a sister, Aileen Johnson, and husband Marvin Johnson of Lenoir, a brother Shuford Edmisten and wife Wendy Edmisten of Flat Rock, NC, two nieces, Sheila Summerlin Coffey and Erica Greene, six nephews, Troy Johnson of Lenoir, Devin Summerlin of Granite Falls, Alex Edmisten and wife Crystal of West Jefferson, NC, David Capps, Daniel and Aaron Moody and their families of Hendersonville area, and a number of great nephews and nieces and a great great nephew.

Pat was a lifelong resident of Caldwell County and a member of First Advent Christian Church of Lenoir.  She graduated from Happy Valley High School in Patterson, NC.  She pursued a career in cosmetology but later found her interest in furniture manufacturing.  She loved her friends and family.  She passed away after an extended illness.  She will be truly missed and reminds us all to be thankful for each day.

A graveside service is at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, Auguste 20, 2024, at Blue Ridge Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Jim Lee of Lenoir.
